6 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Lemosho Route

The Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route is widely regarded as the most beautiful of all the Kilimanjaro Routes The Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route is one of the newer routes on the mountain, and it shares a portion of the same trail as the Machame route, but it has a few advantages over that route that make it worthwhile to consider, especially for tourists with extra time.
The Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route is newer and approaches Kilimanjaro from the west. The journey begins at Lemosho Gate and the route was introduced as a substitute to the Shira Route which trails starts from a higher, more challenging altitude. 7 Days Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro Travel Itineraries is a little wild and you may get to spot large buffalo, antelope, and maybe even elephant. The route is also home to some primates such as black and white colobus monkey, blue monkeys etc.

Day 0: Arrival Day and Pre-Trek Briefing

Arrival: Optional airport transfers from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport to your hotel in Moshi.
Activity: Pre-trek briefing at your hotel. Arrive at least one day before the trek starts to review your equipment and rent any necessary gear.

Day 1: Moshi / Lemosho Gate to Big Tree Camp

Pickup: 08:00 am transfer from your hotel to Lemosho Gate. Activity: Register at the gate and begin your trek through the Lemosho glades forest.

Day 2: Big Tree Camp to Shira 2 Camp

Activity: Trek across the plateau of grassy moorland and heather, passing Shira 1 Camp. Enjoy views of Kibo Peak and the Northern Ice Fields.

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp

Activity: Ascend through the upland desert to Lava Tower (4,640 meters / 15,223 feet) for lunch, then descend to Barranco Camp at the base of the Great Barranco Valley.

Day 04:Barranco Camp to Barafu camp

Activity: Descend into the Great Barranco, climb the Barranco Wall, then proceed to Karanga Camp. after lunch we proceed to the base camp barafu Elevation:it's 4,673 meters (15,330 feet)

    Activity: Trek across scree slopes to Barafu Camp, preparing for the summit climb. Early dinner and rest.

Day 5: Barafu Camp to Mweka Camp

Activity: after summit start to Depart at midnight, climb to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters / 19,341 feet), then descend to Barafu Camp for breakfast. Continue descending to Mweka Camp for rest.

Day 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate and Return to Hotel

Activity: Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, complete park formalities, receive your summit certificate, and transfer back to your hotel in Moshi.
